The Hard Tack & Sow Belly String Band, aka. Moch Pryderi, is a four piece band specializing in the Minstrel and Civil War era hits of the 1850’s, 1860’s, 1870’s and 1880’s, as well as traditional dance music from the Appalachians. The band has appeared at festivals and dances on the east coast including the Historic Rugby Tennessee Festival of British and Appalachian Culture, The Remsen New York Barn Festival, the Luminaries at the Confederate Cemetery in Fredericksburg Virginia, the Capitol of the Condereracy Ball in Richmond Virginia, and the Virginia Soiree in Richmond Virginia.
